Peter Liem is an American wine writer, and author of ChampagneGuide.net. Following nearly a decade in the wine trade, he was a senior editor, critic and tasting director for Wine & Spirits, and his writings on sherry, champagne and other wines have also appeared in publications such as The World of Fine Wine, The Art of Eating and The San Francisco Chronicle. Since 2006, he has resided in the Champagne region of France, and can also frequently be found in New York, Jerez and north London.
Jesús Barquín is a professor of criminal law and director of the Institute of Criminology at the University of Granada. He is a regular contributor to The World of Fine Wine, as well as to the wine and food sections of the newspaper El Mundo. Among other awards, he has received an André Simon Book Award and Spain’s National Gastronomy Prize for his writing. In addition, he is a founder of Equipo Navazos, whose critically-acclaimed “La Bota de…” collection of sherries features limited releases of special wines from selected Andalusian bodegas.
